Exhibition Memories of Sweden – Viet Nam will be held in Hanoi in January 2020. Surprise gifts will be given to all the authors, and 10 special gifts for the authors of the photos voted by the Advisory Board and the audience.

I.   Organizer 

Sweden Alumni Network Vietnam (SANV) 

II.  Eligible participants 

Individuals who have experiences with Sweden and/or Viet Nam (regardless of nationality, gender, age, social class and residence) 

III.        Instruction  

1.    Type:Photos with caption 

2.    Themes: Please kindly send your own photos of the following optional topics: 

2.1 – Memories about your time living in Sweden and/or Vietnam (about human, life, working environment, study….

2.2 – Memories about culture (custome, festival…of Sweden and/or Vietnam)

2.3 – Memories about nature, landscape, scenery

3.    Requirement

    3.1 Content: Participants can send photos and stories that reflect their thoughts, feelings about memories of Sweden and Vietnam in accordance with the themes of the Photo Collection. The minimum number of words is 50. 

    3.2 Date of the photos: There is no limit about the date of the photos (the photos could be taken recently or long time ago)

    3.3 Language: Vietnamese and/or English

    3.4 Number of entries: Each participant can submit up to 3 photos

    3.5 About copyright: The photos submitted to the Organizer can be the photos that have been published before, as long as the participants do not violate any regulation of copyright. The participants will be responsible for the copyright of their submitted photos. 

    3.6 Information of the participants: Please kindly provide all information required in the submission form. 

    3.7 Consent to use the photos: The Organizer is entitled to use the photos for media purposes which aim to share information about Sweden And Vietnam (for example: posting on websites  and other social media). In addition, the photos can be used for printing photobook, postcard..etc. The Organizer will contact the photo owners about the use of their phototos for specific purposes.

    V. Timeline
    Photovoice Collection starts on 1/12/2019 and all entries must be received by 31/12/2019. 

    VI.           Results

    1.    All photos and stories sent to the Organizer will be collected for the “Memories of Sweden – Vietnam” collection, which will published online on the Fanpage of Sweden Alumni Network Vietnam (SANV). 

    2.    About 30 impressive photos will be selected for the exhibition, which will be organized in January 2020. Authors of the most impressive photos are invited to share about their photos on the day of the exhibition.

    3.     Some of the impressive photos will be selected for postcard printing. 

    VII.         Photos selection procedure 

    The Organizer invites Advisory Board of three members to select photos for the exhibition including: 

    1.    Artist Van Duong Thanh

    2.    Photographer Cao Anh Tuan

    3.    Representative from Embassy of Sweden in Hanoi

    The photos will be preliminary selected by the Organizer based on the criteria and requirements of the photo collection. The Advisory Board will then select the most impressive photos to be exhibited.The Advisory Board will ensure the principles are objective, fair and transparent during the photo selection process.  

    VIII.        Award 

    The Organizer will have gifts for the most impressive photos:

    -      05 gifts for the impressive photos and stories selected by the Advisory Board 

    -      05 gifts for the most impressive photos voted by the public
